Account and Profile Settings on Freya Finance

Settings → Profile is the hub for your account — your details, your subscription, and the controls that keep your account secure. This guide tours each section so you know exactly what's there and what it does.

Key Takeaways

  • Settings → Profile is your account hub: profile info, subscription, password, 2FA, active sessions, and an activity log.
  • Your email and display name are fixed — they're shown read-only and can't be changed.
  • You can change your password (minimum 8 characters); if you signed up with Google, your password is managed through Google.
  • You can review your active sessions, then sign out any you don't recognize.
  • Auto-renewal for your subscription plan can be toggled on or off here.
  • Under Sign-in methods you can turn signing in with your Bybit or OKX account on or off. Deleting the exchange key does not turn it off.

Profile Information

At the top you'll find your email address and display name. Both are read-only — they're set when your account is created and can't be changed afterward. Your display name is also what's shown publicly if you sell strategies on the marketplace, so it's worth getting right at sign-up.

Your Subscription Plan and Auto-Renewal

This section shows your current plan (Free, Plus, or Pro) and, if you're subscribed, when it renews. You can toggle Auto-Renewal on or off:

  • On — your plan renews automatically from your platform balance when the period ends.
  • Off — your plan won't auto-renew; it simply lapses at the end of the period unless you renew it manually.

For what each plan includes, see Freya Finance Plans: Free, Plus & Pro Explained.

Security: Your Password

Under Security Settings, you can change your password: enter your current password, then a new one (at least 8 characters), and confirm it. Freya checks that your current password is correct and that the new one is entered identically twice.

If you signed up with Google, there's no separate Freya password to change — your sign-in is handled by Google, and this section points you to manage your Google account instead.

Security: Two-Factor Authentication

You can enable or disable two-factor authentication (2FA) right here. Turning it on is the single best step you can take to protect your account. For the full walkthrough — scanning the QR code, saving backup codes, and logging in afterward — see How to Set Up 2FA.

Security: Sign-In Methods

Under Security Settings, Sign-in methods lists the ways you can log in. Authenticator App (your 2FA) is always here. If you have connected a Bybit or OKX account with Fast Connection, a row for it appears too, shown by the account's last digits with an On or Off badge.

Turning exchange sign-in on. Select Enable on the row. Freya asks you to confirm it's really you: enter your password, or confirm with Google if that's how you log in. Once on, the row reads You can sign in to Freya with this account, and you can use that exchange on the login page instead of your email.

A few conditions:

  • Your email must have been confirmed with Freya. If it wasn't, Freya won't turn it on and tells you to contact support. This protects accounts created outside Freya's own sign-up.
  • OKX needs a live connection. If you removed the OKX key, the row reads Not connected right now. Connect this OKX account under API Keys to turn sign-in on. Bybit doesn't have this condition.
  • Confirm with your password or Google, not the exchange. If you're currently signed in through the exchange, log in with your email or Google first.

Turning it off is instant and needs no confirmation. That account can no longer sign you in.

Deleting the API key does not turn sign-in off. The key is for trading; sign-in has its own switch here. If you stop using an exchange with Freya, turn its sign-in off as well. Full walkthrough: Sign In with Bybit.

Security: Active Sessions

Freya shows the sessions currently signed in to your account — each with its device, location, IP, and when it was last active. Your current session is marked, and you can sign out any other session with one click.

See a session you don't recognize?

If a device or location looks unfamiliar, sign that session out immediately and change your password. This is the fastest way to lock out anyone who may have gained access — and a great reason to keep 2FA on.

Activity Log

The activity log records recent actions on your account — logins, password changes, sessions you've signed out, and similar events. It's a simple way to keep an eye on what's happened on your account over time.

Changing Your Language

Freya is available in many languages. Your language is set with the language switcher in the interface (not in Profile), and it applies across the platform. Choosing your language is also one of the small one-time tasks that earns you XP in the Earn system.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are my account settings on Freya Finance?

In Settings → Profile. That's your account hub — profile information, your subscription plan and auto-renewal, password, two-factor authentication, active sessions, and an activity log are all there.

How do I change my password?

In Settings → Profile under Security Settings, choose Change Password: enter your current password, then a new password of at least 8 characters, and confirm it. If you signed up with Google, you don't set a separate Freya password — manage it through your Google account instead.

Can I change my email or display name?

No. Both your email and display name are set when your account is created and are shown read-only afterward. Choose your display name carefully at sign-up, since it appears publicly if you sell strategies on the marketplace.

How do I see which devices are logged into my account?

The Active Sessions section in Settings → Profile lists every signed-in session with its device, location, IP, and last-active time. Your current session is marked, and you can sign out any other session — useful if you spot one you don't recognize.

How do I turn auto-renewal on or off?

In the Subscription Plan section of Settings → Profile, toggle Auto-Renewal. On means your plan renews automatically from your platform balance; off means it lapses at the end of the period unless you renew it manually.

How do I change my language?

Use the language switcher in the interface — it applies across the whole platform. Language isn't set in Profile. As a bonus, choosing your language is one of the one-time tasks that earns XP in Freya's Earn system.

Where do I manage two-factor authentication?

In the Security section of Settings → Profile, where you can enable or disable 2FA. For the complete setup guide, including backup codes, see the How to Set Up 2FA article.

Can I sign in with my Bybit or OKX account?

Yes, once that account is connected with Fast Connection. Go to Settings → Profile → Security Settings → Sign-in methods, find the exchange row, and select Enable. Your email must have been confirmed with Freya, and for OKX the account has to be connected at the time. See Sign In with Bybit.

If I delete my exchange API key, can it still sign me in?

Yes. The API key is for trading, and exchange sign-in has its own switch under Sign-in methods. To stop it, turn that switch off as well as deleting the key.
